Travelling by Train to Norwich
Main line trains depart from Liverpool Street Station in London every
hour between 5:30 am and 11:30 pm. The journey takes approximately one
hour and fifty minutes. Trains usually depart from platform 10 or
platform 11.
Travelling by Train to Norwich from
Gatwick
Main line trains depart regularly from Gatwick to London, Victoria
Station. At Victoria follow the signs for the Underground and take the
Circle Line (Yellow) to London, Liverpool Street Station. From there
you can get the main line train to Norwich (this usually leaves from
platform 10 or 11).
Travelling by Train to Norwich from Heathrow
>From Heathrow you can take the Underground train (approximately every
five minutes) on the Piccadilly Line (Blue) to Holborn (journey time
approximately 1 hour 10 minutes). Change trains at Holborn and take the
Central Line (Red) to Liverpool Street Station. From there you can get
the main line train to Norwich (this usually leaves from platform 10 or
11).
Travelling by Train to Norwich from Stansted
Stansted Airport operates a fast 'air-rail' coach service link between
the airport and Colchester Station. There are frequent main line trains
from Colchester to Norwich.
National Express Jetlink
Jetlink Coaches run from Gatwick, Heathrow and Stanstead to the
University of East Anglia every two hours. A timetable is
available on request.
Travelling by Coach to Norwich from London
Coaches to Norwich (Surrey Street Bus Station) depart from Victoria
Coach Station in London every two hours. The journey takes about three
hours but the coaches are spacious and comfortable. Norwich is the last
stop for some coaches but others may be going on to Great Yarmouth
(twenty miles away on the coast), so be sure not to miss your stop.
